Food and Drink – Feeding all of your Senses
Let your growling stomach lead the way, Sample delicacies from the buffet, Choose your favourites, Breakfast of champions to start the day (and already look forward to dinner…), Spoon some soup, Select a great wine to accompany your food, Toast with friends, Enjoy the sights and smells of mealtime, A convivial time all around, Finish your dessert with a fine digestif, End the evening pleasantly sated!
Our breakfast buffet offers the best for appetites big and small, daily from 7.30 until 10.00 a.m. To enjoy to the fullest the magnificent mountains, to keep up your vigor through the deep drifts of snow, or even just for some easy-going passes on the slopes: you’ll need well-rounded (and delicious!) food.
The buffet offers a representative selection of our region’s delights: there’s tea made from hand-picked and dried alpine herbs, bread and pastries from the village bakery, and homemade muesli and yoghurt. If you’re looking for something heartier, eggs from happy hens can be ordered à la carte.
Just as everyone sets out nourished and strong in the mornings, they are sure to return ravenous in the evenings. After a relaxing interlude in the Sauna, our extensive salad buffet awaits. As the perfect finishing touch, we recommend drizzling some drops of Styrian pumpkin seed oil, a local specialty, over your salad.
Breakfast service is provided seven days a week. From Tuesday through Saturday we offer dinner service beginning at 6.30pm (Sundays and Mondays are breakfast service only).
The daily menu includes crisp salad selections from the buffet, followed by an appetizer, main course and dessert. Of course, a vegetarian option is available with every evening meal service.
We recognize that what makes an exceptional dining experience, apart from fresh dishes made from ingredients of the highest quality, is a congenial atmosphere of people taking their time and coming together to enjoy. Our lovingly renovated and refurbished farmhouse parlours invite you to gather, savour and linger.
Our kitchen takes the traditional Austrian kitchen as a starting point, providing its quintessential dishes with some twists and a touch of pizzazz. Grandma’s recipes are well represented with dishes like red cabbage soup, creamy veal goulash with quark spaetzle, apricot dumplings and baked apples. There’s also some delicious selections that weren’t in Grandma’s repertoire, like butter-soft Ossobuco alla Milanese or tender sirloin steak with beluga lentils.
On Sunday and Monday evenings our kitchen is closed. We are more than happy to advise and assist you in reserving a table at one of the excellent restaurants in Lech, Oberlech, Zug or Zürs.
You can get a complimentary extra plate to share your dinner menu selections with your kids. For hungry little mouths (up to age 14) we can prepare smaller portions for half price.
